A backwashing neutralizer contains calcite (calcium carbonate) and/or Corosex (magnesium oxide) that slowly dissolves into your water to correct pH. Standard calcite is typically used for most applications as a mild neutralizing agent. Corosex is a stronger neutralizing media, and used as a blend with calcite for applications with a very low pH or high TDS (total dissolved solids). For applications with extremely high TDS, a chemical injection system can be used to inject soda ash solution into water to correct low pH.

A Few Facts About the Honduran Military and the Washington Post

Some thoughts from Ken Silverstein at Harpers Magazine (6 July 09).

1. There’s very little truth to anything you’ve read about the coup in American newspapers.

2. President Manuel Zelaya is no radical. He approved a big minimum wage increase, which was desperately needed in a country where so many workers are poor, but he otherwise has been a very cautious, ineffectual reformer. The intensity of the reaction against him by the Honduran elite — as seen in the coup — reflects the feudal mentality of the traditional economic and political leadership, not Zelaya’s politics.

3. Zelaya was not seeking to stay in power by unconstitutional means; even if his political reforms had succeeded, he would have been out of power within the year. The only side guilty of unconstitutional action is the coup plotters.

4. Based on his response to events in Honduras, Barack Obama may as well be Ronald Reagan or George Bush when it comes to coups in Latin America. The Obama administration initially managed to muster “concern” about the coup, and has been acting in a cowardly fashion ever since. The only reason it has moved at all was that it was forced by the united front by Latin governments of left and right. If Zelaya is returned to power, it won’t be because of anything Obama did.

5. The American media does not believe in democracy, as seen in the routine portrayal of a moral equivalence between the elected government and the coup plotters. The Washington Post is the worst of the pack. For its editorial page, “democracy” is strictly utilitarian; it’s OK when our side wins; otherwise, we will justify vote-rigging or military action by the other side, even while pretending we support constitutional order.

But what else would you expect from a newspaper that fired its only opinion writer who was right about Iraq and that has offered to sell its reporters to the highest bidder? Maybe the Honduran military is buying up advertising space in the Post in order to ensure favorable treatment from Fred Hiatt & Co.

"America - Freedom to Fascism"

Aaron Russo, television and film producer and former gubernatorial candidate in Nevada, wrote and directed this film, "America - Freedom to Fascism", exposing the FRAUD that is the U.S. Tax Code and it's disingenuous reliance on the 16th Amendment, which by the Supreme Court decision specifically limited the Federal Government by stating the 16th Amendment did NOT grant the Federal Government any new right to tax the American citizen. Apparently, becoming a U.S. Taxpayer is something that can be legally avoided, however if you own a company you're likely fair game for taxation. The Constitution of the United States of America, as interpreted by the U.S. Supreme Court recognizes that a person's (human being - not a corporation) labor is owned by him/her and is not taxable. This film can be watched on Google or Youtube.

I stumbled upon a website for "Nontaxpayers" that would be good reading for every American.

Aaron died a couple of years ago, and his work will be missed. Some of you might know that he also spoke to Prison Planet host Alex Jones about Nicholas Rockefeller, revealing his foreknowledge of what turned out to be September 11th, 2001. That is a video well worth Watching (here).

Federal Income Tax doesn't pay for any services we get. Services come from other taxes, such as state, local, sales and property. Our income tax simply tries to pay the interest on the money that the Federal government has wastefully borrowed and spent (or should I say handed to corporations). Our grand children's grand children will be paying off this huge debt, but only if we were to stop spending (and start saving) NOW! If not, there is no generation that will see black back on the books, it will all be red.

BTW - between the Naked Short Selling FTD (Failed To Delivers, e.g. IOUs or Counterfeit Stock Certificates) and Credit Default Swaps (CDS) there is approximately $90,000,000,000,000.00 (90 TRILLION) in BAD DEBT floating around in the electronic financial moronosphere. That is 9 times the GDP of the entire planet in 2007. Who's going to pay for that mess? Right now there looking at us "the US Tax Payers"! Forget that.
